Yongpil Jeon, Director of aT Center Dubai, expressed his enthusiasm about the event, stating, “Gulfood has been remarkably impressive and has presented a significant opportunity for Korean food exports in the Middle Eastern market. We are planning to showcase an even larger and more diverse Korean pavilion next year.”

Korean food exports to the UAE have experienced remarkable growth, reaching USD 270 million in 2024—a significant 8.6% increase from the previous year. Key product categories driving this expansion include noodles, beverages, ginseng and red ginseng products, vegetables, and fresh fruits. These figures underscore the growing appetite for Korean flavors in the region, fueled by an increasing interest in global culinary experiences and the health benefits associated with traditional Korean ingredients.
