The Dubai Police have recently fulfilled the wish of an Asian resident to meet his family at the Transit Area of Dubai International Airport (DXB) — Terminal 2. The man had not seen his wife and daughter for ten years.

According to Major General Ali Ateeq Bin Lahej, Director of the General Department of Airports Security at Dubai Police, they had received a request from an Asian resident wishing to meet his wife and daughter, who were transiting via Dubai International Airport (DXB).

“The Asian resident explained that he hadn’t been with his family for ten years due to some personal circumstances. He’d hoped Dubai Police would support and help him to see them after the long separation,” Bin Lahej added.

The director of the General Department of Airport Security said that the United Arab Emirates is always keen to display the ultimate gestures of human solidarity and to support humanitarian work.

“We responded to the man’s request and handled all necessary procedures to facilitate the family reunion at the transit area of Dubai International Airport Terminal 2,” Bin Lahej continued.

The Asian resident and his family expressed their happiness and gratitude to Dubai Police for granting them a chance to meet. “Thank you, Dubai Police. You’ve made me the happiest father in the world,” the Asian resident said.
