Man kills father, four brothers over property dispute in Egypt

In a horrific massacre in Egypt on Monday, a young man shot his entire family members, including killing his father and 4 brothers.

The young man’s mother was also injured during the incident..

The heinous crime took place in Qena Governorate when a farmer shot his family, killing 5 of them on the spot and injuring his mother, according to local media.

According to the police, a report was sent to the director of security in the Egyptian governorate of Qena stating that a farmer named Gamal Abdel Nasser Ibrahim fired a hail of bullets at his family.

Investigations indicated that the farmer fired the bullets during a verbal altercation.

The security services and a criminal investigation team moved to the crime scene.

The injured was transferred to Qena General Hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigations confirmed that the victim’s eldest son shot his parents and brothers due to property inheritance disputes.

The security services in the Qena Security Directorate were able to arrest the accused.

He will be presented to the Public Prosecution.

An order was also taken to transfer the bodies to the hospital mortuary.

A report was issued regarding the incident, and the Public Prosecution Office was notified to initiate further investigations in to incident.
