City earn solid win, Liverpool lose, United get last-gasp draw

Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne made it 600 and 601 up for Pep Guardiola as City defeated a spirited Brighton 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.Haaland’s 16th and 17th goal of this Premier League season, as well as De Bruyne’s scorching strike, earned a welcome three points for City as we bounced back from defeat away at Liverpool.

In the meantime, Liverpool’s Premier League title challenge suffered another massive blow in a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

The long awaited Chelsea and Manchester United clash ended in  a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League after Jorginho’s penalty was canceled out by Casemiro’s injury-time equaliser.
