The English club Liverpool is not concerned about the position of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah next season, according to British media.

Mohamed Salah will be playing his last season at Anfield, if his contract is not renewed, but at the same time it does not guarantee his survival for additional years, despite the progress of negotiations between the two parties.

Mohamed Salah, 30, contract expires in June 2023, and so far negotiations between him and the Liverpool administration have not reached a consensus about his survival.

The British media indicated that the Liverpool administration is not concerned about the level of Mohamed Salah in the new season, and knows that the three-time Premier League top scorer will give everything he has for the team.

The media said, “The departure of Senegalese Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich, for 35 million pounds, could represent a strong boost for Salah to continue in the ranks of Liverpool for additional years.”

The local media said, “Informed sources within the English Premier League and Champions League runners-up confirmed that there has been great progress in the negotiations between the player and the Liverpool administration, without the club’s management exceeding the wage ceiling, but at the same time they see no indications that Salah will give up much of his demands.

The reports said, “Liverpool’s success in including Uruguayan Darwin Nunez from Benfica for 85 million pounds, in the most expensive deal concluded by the Reds in its history, has strengthened the offensive power of the Jurgen Klopp battalion, which also includes two new deals, Fabio Carvalho from Fulham, and Calvin Ramsey from Aberdeen.
