Pak Social Centre holds badminton tournament on its diamond jubilee anniversary

Sajjad Akbar Khan of Pakistan Television won the Sohni Dharti Badminton Tournament in Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah. He defeated Iftikhar Chaudhry of Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah after a tough contest in the final.

The Pakistani community celebrated the diamond jubilee anniversary of the establishment of Pakistan Social Centre in Sharjah. 

The Sohni Dharti Badminton festival was held at the Social Centre. Badminton lovers of Pakistan registered in a huge number.

The Sohni Dharti Badminton Tournament was played in the knockout format. Imran Khan Yousafzai, Sajjad Akbar, Raja Irfan Ahmed, Raja Asad Khalid, Haji Abdul Rauf and Iftikhar Chaudhry qualified for the semi -finals.

However, the players defeated the opposition with the skill and ability in the game, after which the thrilling match of the final match took place between Sajjad Akbar Khan and Iftikhar Chaudhry, who played the most charming shorts and Sajjad Akbar Khan won the match and the tournament.

Pakistan Social Center Sharjah President Chaudhry Khalid Hussain handed over Pakistan Television Sajjad the trophy while the run -up trophy was handed given to Iftikhar Chaudhry of the Pakistan Social Centre.

Speaking on the occasion, President of Pakistan Social Center Sharjah Chaudhry Khalid Hussain said that the Pakistan community gave the message that the Pakistani community has also earned its identity and honor in the UAE.

On the occasion, Malik Shahzad, Tariq Nadeem, Sahib Khan, Wajahat and other guests also witnessed the charming and thorny competition of badminton and encouraged the winners and the loser.
