South Africa won the toss and opted to bowl in the second T20 against India on Sunday.

The Proteas lead the five-match series 1-0 after winning the first game in Delhi by seven wickets. India did not make any changes to its team from the last game.

Despite scoring 211-4, the hosts failed to defend the target. Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar attributed the result to a poor fielding and bowling effort in the first game.
South Africa registered its highest successful T20 chase in Delhi. The visitors have made two changes from the first game.

Quinton de Kock misses out due to a hand injury and Tristan Stubbs is left out. Heinrich Klaasen and Reeza Hendricks come in to take their spots.

The pitch at Barabati Stadium will aid batsmen again. Unlike in Delhi, dew is expected to be a factor in the second innings.

A full house is in attendance as international cricket returns to Cuttack for the first time since December 2019.
