The second edition of the Superdad Awards was held on June 14, 2025 at JW Marriott Hotel Marina, Dubai, bringing together fathers, families, and community leaders to recognize fatherhood in its many powerful forms. The event was timed ahead of Father’s Day to spotlight real stories of strength, sacrifice, and love, and to reflect on why celebrating fathers is more important than ever in today’s world.
Organized by 321 Events DMCC, the Superdad Awards were created to shine a light on the often-unacknowledged contributions of fathers who serve as role models, caretakers, mentors, and changemakers in their homes and communities.
The Superdad of the Year honor was awarded to Taylor Johnson, an American father of three, including two adopted daughters with visual impairments. Taylor’s story stood out for his ability to balance fatherhood and entrepreneurship while creating a nurturing environment filled with love and opportunity. His dedication to inclusion, advocacy, and daily presence embodies The evening was more than just an awards ceremony — it was a tribute to fatherhood. A live sand art performance narrated the journey of a father’s life, while a dance tribute honored fathers across generations. Guests enjoyed a curated three-course dinner, while pre-function activities allowed families to connect and celebrate through interactive stations and photo moments.
Reflecting on the event’s purpose, Zoha Masood Beig, Founder and CEO of 321 Events DMCC, shared:

The awards were judged by a respected Jury and Advisory Board, including Maher Al Kabi, Raza Beig, Gaurav Tandon, Amitabh Taneja, Nina Zandnia, Mohammed Al Mansoori, David Van Lachem, H.E. Mirza Al Hussain Sayegh, and Juhi Yasmeen Khan. Their collective experience ensured that the selections were thoughtful and well-deserved.

In addition to the top award, nine inspiring fathers were recognized across special categories that reflect different facets of parenting:
- Chef Dad – Alex Rolland (French): For passing on love and culture through homemade meals, even after long travels.
- Dad in Mom Shoes – Muhammad Ali Rehman (Pakistani): For stepping into the role of both parents and raising his children with unwavering strength and compassion.
- Creative Dad – Massimiliano Lepore (Italian): For guiding his family through adversity with imagination, artistry, and emotional strength.
- Community Hero Dad – Ionel Ciuca (Romanian): A hands-on, heart-led dad of two who uplifts others through kindness and support.
- Adventure Dad – Mohamed Arshad Junaid (Sri Lankan): For creating unforgettable travel memories with his children across the globe.
- Mom in Dad Shoes – Khalida Malout (UAE): An Emirati mother of immense strength, Khalida Malout raised five children on her own while carrying the weight of unimaginable loss. After tragically losing two of her children in a car accident, she continued to care for her remaining children with grace, resilience, and unwavering love. Despite having limited formal education, she managed every challenge life threw her way with dignity and determination. Her story is one of silent sacrifice, strength, and a shining example of motherhood that inspires all.
- Fashion Dad – Majed Al Alawi (Bahraini): For redefining fatherhood with personal style and family flair.
- Mentor Dad – Yasser Ahmed (Canadian): For being a grounding, inspirational figure through love, structure, and guidance.
- Fitness Dad – Dr. Ravinder Singh (Indian): For maintaining discipline and inspiring his daughter through an 11-year commitment to health and wellness.
Special Awards
- Honorary Recognition – Mohan Valrani: A veteran entrepreneur and philanthropist, awarded for his lifetime commitment to community-building, values-driven leadership, and mentorship across generations.
- Entertainer Dad – Akif: Better known as Mr. Lova Lova, Akif is a proud father of three and part of the viral AfrobySara family. He spreads joy through dance, humor, and fun family content that inspires millions online.
The event had great support through a family friendly brand Centrepoint, the Title Sponsor, whose continued partnership has been instrumental in building and expanding the Superdad Awards as a meaningful platform.
