*October 10, 2025 | Vancouver, Canada:* The second day of the Canada Super 60 turned out to be even more exciting, as fans were once again treated to a series of high-scoring and action-packed matches at BC Place in Vancouver — one of North America’s most iconic sporting venues.

The first match of the day was a thrilling, high-scoring contest as Brampton Blitz chased down a massive target of 152 runs to win by 7 wickets, with three balls remaining against Mississauga Masters.

The Blitz didn’t get off to a great start, losing early wickets and finding themselves in trouble at 61/3. However, skipper David Wiese and Alex Davies steadied the innings with a brilliant match-winning partnership of 91 runs for the fourth wicket.

Wiese led from the front with a stunning knock of 58 not out off just 18 balls, hitting powerful shots all around the park.

Davies provided strong support at the other end with an unbeaten 36 off 12 balls, guiding the team to victory in style.

For the Mississauga Masters, Ali Khan was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 2/19 in his 2 overs.

Earlier, batting first, the Masters posted an impressive 151/5 in 10 overs, thanks to a fiery 55 off 21 balls from Leus du Plooy and a quick-fire 36 not out off 11 balls from Shubham Rajane.

The Blitz bowlers had mixed success, with Dilon Heyliger taking 3/30 in his two overs and David Wiese also contributing with 1/13 in his two.

*Vancouver Kings vs Montreal Royal Tigers*

The Vancouver Kings continued their impressive form in the Canada Super 60, registering their second consecutive win with a dominant all-round performance against the Montreal Royal Tigers.

Batting first, the Kings got off to a blazing start as openers Max Chu and Nauman Anwar added a massive 140-run partnership for the first wicket in just 6 overs. Chu was in sensational touch, smashing 82 runs off only 23 balls, hitting nine towering sixes along the way. Anwar gave him solid support with a quick-fire 44 off 17 deliveries.

Though the Tigers managed to pick up a few wickets in the middle overs, the Kings’ captain Dwaine Pretorius ensured the momentum didn’t drop. He played a blistering innings of 53 not out off 14 balls, guiding his team to a massive total of 206 for 4 in 10 overs — one of the highest scores of the tournament so far.

In reply, the Montreal Royal Tigers began their chase positively but couldn’t keep up with the required run rate. The Kings’ bowlers struck at regular intervals, causing a steady collapse in the middle order. Despite some resistance, the Tigers were eventually restricted to 126/9, handing the Kings a comprehensive 80-run victory.

For the Kings, Baltej Singh, Tajinder Singh, and Dwaine Pretorius were outstanding with the ball, each picking up three wickets to complete a near-perfect team performance.

*White Rock Warriors vs Toronto Sixers*

The White Rock Warriors put up a strong all-round performance to clinch a 30-run win over the Toronto Sixers, successfully defending a target of 165 runs.

Batting first, the Warriors got off to a solid start with captain Chris Lynn scoring 34 off 17 balls. Later, Aaron Jones provided the finishing touches with a blistering 67* off just 15 deliveries, helping his team post a commanding total of 164/6 in 10 overs.

For the Sixers, Nawab Singh was the standout bowler, picking up 3 wickets for 25 runs in his 2 overs. In the chase, the Sixers struggled to find momentum as wickets fell at regular intervals.

Despite Alex Hales’ impressive 60 off 21 balls, the rest of the batting lineup failed to build partnerships, and the team eventually finished at 134/4 in 10 overs.

Peter Siddle was the star with the ball for the Warriors, taking 2 wickets for just 9 runs in his 2 overs, ensuring the Sixers fell short of the target.

*Vancouver Thunderbirds vs Toronto Sixers Women*

In a historic moment at the Canada Super 60, the Toronto Sixers Women registered a commanding 8-wicket victory over the Vancouver Thunderbirds in the women’s fixture.

Chasing a target of 98 runs in 10 overs, the Sixers made the task look easy, thanks to a stunning innings from Deandra Dottin, who smashed 70 off just 27 balls. Her explosive knock included six fours and six sixes, taking the game away from the Thunderbirds in quick time.

Earlier, the Vancouver Thunderbirds posted 97/3 in their 10 overs. Achini Perera anchored the innings with an unbeaten 30 off 26 balls, while Alisa Lister chipped in with a steady 28 off 21.

For the Sixers, Krima Kapadia was impressive with the ball, conceding just 10 runs in her two overs and picking up one wicket, helping to restrict the Thunderbirds to a modest total.

Day 3 of the Canada Super 60 promises more exciting action as the Toronto Sixers will be playing Vancouver Thunderbirds in the women’s match while Vancouver Kings take on Mississauga Masters, followed by Brampton Blitz facing White Rock Warriors, while the final game of the day will feature Montreal Royal Tigers against Toronto Sixers.
