Samsung unveils new 2026 TVs with Mini LED upgrades and smarter AI

Samsung has officially expanded its 2026 TV lineup, and the big focus this year is clear: better Mini LED screens and smarter AI features across more price points.

According to the company’s announcement, the new lineup introduces refreshed Neo QLED 4K TVs alongside an all-new Mini LED TV series, bringing improved brightness, contrast, and AI-powered enhancements to a wider range of buyers. The idea here isn’t just flagship upgrades, but also about making premium display tech more accessible.

What’s new in Samsung’s 2026 TVs?

The biggest change is how Samsung is restructuring its lineup. At the top of the Mini LED stack are the Neo QLED models like the QN80H and QN70H, which combine Quantum Mini LED backlighting with quantum dot color for better brightness and color accuracy. These models also come with real-time AI optimization, improving both picture and sound depending on what you’re watching.

Below that, Samsung has introduced a new range of standard Mini LED TVs (like the M70H and M80H). These are more affordable options that still benefit from Mini LED backlighting, but skip some premium features like quantum dot color to hit lower price points. Interestingly, Samsung is also shaking things up by dropping some older models like the QN90 series, as it shifts focus toward newer display technologies and lineup restructuring.

As for the features, the major highlight is that the company’s new TVs come with something called Vision AI Companion. This aims to deliver more personalized viewing experiences, from optimizing picture quality in real time to enhancing lower-resolution content. What’s more, is that features like AI upscaling and HDR enhancement are designed to make even older content look sharper and more vibrant, which is becoming a key selling point as streaming quality varies widely.

Pricing & availability

Samsung’s 2026 TV lineup covers a wide range of price points, starting from more affordable Mini LED models and going all the way up to premium Neo QLED variants.
