Exhibitors from China, UAE, and Jordan to Gather at METAS 2026 in Sharjah

Press conference held at Sharjah Chamber of Commerce ahead of 5th Middle East Tyre, Auto & Spare Parts Expo

SHARJAH, UAE — July 29, 2026 — The organizers of the 5th Middle East Tyre, Auto & Spare Parts Expo (METAS 2026) held a press conference today at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announcing that 51 companies from China, the UAE, and Jordan will exhibit at Expo Centre Sharjah from August 3rd to 5th, 2026.

The press conference was attended by senior officials from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Shandong Provincial Government Economic and Trade Representative Office in West Asia and Africa, Expo Centre Sharjah, and the Shandong Business Council in the UAE, alongside industry partners and media representatives.

Now in its 5th edition, this year’s exhibition will feature 44 Chinese companies from 8 provinces, as well as 6 UAE-based companies and 1 Jordanian company, showcasing products across the full automotive supply chain — including passenger car and truck tyres, alloy wheels, brake systems, engine components, commercial vehicle parts, automotive electronics, and complete vehicles.

“This expo is a powerful testament to the UAE’s enduring role as the preeminent trade and logistics hub of the MENA region,” said Zhou Runcheng, representative of organizer Inter Commerce Expo Corporation. “In a complex global landscape, the UAE — and Sharjah in particular — remains an unshakable gateway connecting markets across the region. The presence of 44 companies from 8 provinces of China is a resounding vote of confidence in the UAE’s economy and in Sharjah’s strategic position.”

Mr. Hua Chunguang, Deputy General Manager of host – Hualun Inter Tech FZCO, highlighted the exhibition’s evolution: “METAS has grown into a nationally recognized platform for China’s entire automotive industry. The enthusiasm from neighboring countries to visit Sharjah has been remarkable — a reflection of the emirate’s friendly business environment, mature industrial infrastructure, and world-class logistics network.”

On August 4th, the second day of the exhibition, METAS will host the “Shandong Quality World Wide — Shandong Automotive & Auto Parts Industry Promotion and Precision Sourcing Matchmaking Conference.” The event will bring together 100 international business professionals from the automotive sector for targeted one-on-one matching with Chinese exhibitors and other leading enterprises.

This marks the first of four activities under the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province’s “One Industry, One Policy” Foreign Trade Excellence Program for the automotive and auto parts sector. The remaining three events will be held in Shandong, Guangdong, and Shanghai, China.

Mr. Jamal Bu Zinjal, Director of Corporate Communication and Public Relations at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, welcomed the continued partnership: “Sharjah has long been a preferred destination for international trade events, and METAS exemplifies the strong and growing economic ties between the UAE and China. We are proud to support this platform and the opportunities it creates for businesses on both sides.”

The organizers confirmed that METAS will return to Sharjah in 2027. In the nearer term, this September, a delegation of automotive business leaders from Sharjah and the UAE will visit Shandong Province, China for trade visits, factory inspections, and bilateral economic cooperation discussions.
