Six-week campaign pairs up to 50% off more than 1,000 products with a standing commitment to hold prices on 125 essentials all year
Dubai, UAE: Union Coop has launched its ‘Back to School 2026’ campaign, running from 3 August to 13 September across its showrooms, app and website. The campaign offers up to 50% off more than 1,000 products, from stationery and school bags to lunch boxes, water bottles, food essentials and electronics.
The offer sits on top of something that does not end when the campaign does. Union Coop holds fixed prices on 125 food and non-food essentials throughout the year, so families plan the school season against prices they already know.
Mohamed Al Hashemi, CEO of Union Coop, said:
“Families don’t need a seasonal offer as much as they need a price they can trust. We hold prices on 125 essential items all year, not only at back-to-school. This campaign builds on that. It doesn’t replace it. A discount earns the visit. A stable price earns the relationship.”
For Tamayaz members, the campaign adds a rewards program on top of the savings. One member wins a daily prize across all 42 days, including laptops, tablets, smartwatches, coffee machines, staycation vouchers and gym memberships. A single transaction of AED 200 or more, inclusive of VAT, qualifies for the daily draw. Under the weekly Tamayaz Millionaire draw, one member wins 1,000,000 Tamayaz points each week. As mega prizes, two members each win a Jetour T1 vehicle, with no minimum spend required. The first vehicle winner will be announced on 24 August and the second on 14 September.
Participation requires a registered Tamayaz account. In-store shoppers scan their digital Tamayaz ID at checkout; purchases through the app or website are recorded automatically. Holders of the Liv Tamayaz credit card by Emirates NBD earn up to 10% cashback at Union Coop, on top of their standard Tamayaz benefits.
The campaign also runs in-store activations, including product sampling, children’s workshops and fresh food initiatives, and gives visible shelf space to ‘Made in UAE’ food and non-food products.
