UAE’s PropTech sector to reach AED 5.95 billion by 2032

Dubai, UAE; 17 August 2026 – As the UAE continues to cement its position as one of the world’s leading innovation hubs, the rapid adoption of PropTech solutions is transforming every stage of the real estate lifecycle. Among the technologies driving this evolution, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are becoming increasingly important, enabling developers, architects and buyers to visualize projects with greater accuracy, improve collaboration and make more informed decisions before construction begins.

The UAE’s PropTech market, valued at approximately AED 2.49 billion in 2025, is expected to grow to around AED 5.95 billion by 2032, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.28% between 2026 and 2032, according to market research firm ‘MarkNtel Advisors’1. The sector’s continued expansion is being fuelled by the country’s growing smart city initiatives, sustained investment in digital infrastructure and increasing demand for innovative technologies that enhance efficiency across property development, sales and asset management.

As developers seek smarter ways to reduce project risk and improve customer engagement, VR and AR technologies are rapidly becoming integral to the planning and design process. By enabling stakeholders to experience properties and architectural layouts before construction begins, these immersive solutions help identify potential design improvements early, reduce costly revisions and enhance communication between developers, architects and clients.

Lifesize Plans Dubai, a leading Australian provider of life-sized architectural projections and immersive visualization technology, has witnessed this growing demand since establishing its UAE operations in 2023. The company combines full-scale architectural plan projections with VR and AR experiences, allowing clients to physically walk through projects at a true 1:1 scale before construction commences. This enables greater confidence in design decisions while supporting the UAE’s continued drive towards innovation within the built environment.

Georges Calas, CEO of Lifesize Plans Dubai, commented: “The UAE has become one of the region’s most exciting PropTech markets because it continues to embrace technologies that improve how real estate is designed, developed and experienced. We are seeing growing demand for immersive visualization tools that help developers, architects and homeowners identify opportunities before construction starts, ultimately saving both time and cost. As the market continues to evolve, innovative technologies such as VR and AR will play an increasingly important role in delivering smarter, more efficient developments across the country.”

With continued government support for digital transformation and sustained investment in world-class real estate projects, the UAE’s PropTech sector is expected to remain on a strong growth trajectory. As VR and AR become increasingly embedded throughout the property development process, immersive visualization technologies are set to play a central role in shaping the future of the country’s real estate landscape.
