OCTA Properties’ DLD and RERA recognition at IPS 2026 reinforces long-term position in Dubai Real Estate

14 September 2026, Dubai, UAE: OCTA Properties, one of the UAE’s leading development management and sales firms, has been recognised by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) for its contribution to Dubai’s real estate sector at the 22nd edition of the International Property Show (IPS 2026).

The company was awarded the title of “Best Selling Real Estate Office in Freehold Areas”, while Fawaz Sous, Founder and CEO of OCTA Properties, was recognised for achieving the highest number of real estate sales in the “Non-Citizen Firm” category.

Both awards were presented by DLD and RERA in recognition of outstanding sales performance and contributions to the growth of Dubai’s real estate sector.

The recognition comes at a significant point in Dubai’s property cycle. According to figures reported by DLD, the emirate recorded AED252 billion in real estate transactions during Q1 2026, up 31% year-on-year, while foreign investment reached AED148.35 billion, up 26%, and 29,312 new investors entered the market during the quarter. These headline figures provide important context on the depth of current demand; however, OCTA believes they should be considered alongside the realities of a cyclical market, including increasing supply, greater competition and more selective buyer behaviour.

For OCTA, the awards are therefore both an acknowledgement of past execution and a marker for the next phase. As the market matures, the ability to read cycles, position products correctly, maintain pricing discipline and execute across development, design, marketing and sales becomes increasingly important.

Fawaz Sous, Founder and CEO of OCTA Properties, said: “These recognitions acknowledge what our team has achieved, but more importantly they set the tone for what comes next. Real estate is cyclical. We do not build our strategy around a single quarter or headline transaction number; we build around the ability to understand cycles, adapt early, position products correctly and monetise opportunities through different market conditions.

“We expect the market to become more competitive and selective, and that is when experience and execution matter most. At the same time, the fundamentals of Dubai and the UAE remain exceptionally strong. Sustained government investment in infrastructure, connectivity, tourism, quality of life and the wider economy has materially changed the structural base of the market. For long-term players, that gives us confidence to keep building through periods of adjustment rather than react to short-term noise.”

Today, OCTA operates as an integrated real estate platform spanning OCTA Properties, OCTA Development, House of OCTA Design, House of OCTA Marketing and OCTA Investments. Across the platform, OCTA has surpassed 9,500 units sold with a total sales value exceeding AED20 billion. OCTA Properties works with more than 1,600 brokerage firms and supports a pipeline of approximately 4,600 units, backed by a team of more than 100 professionals.

The integrated model connects investment, development, design, brand creation, marketing and commercialisation within one ecosystem. This gives OCTA a broader view of the cycle and the ability to calibrate product, positioning, pricing and distribution rather than relying on sales execution in isolation.

Through this platform, OCTA has played a central role in the commercial success of a number of high-profile projects across the emirate, including Rove Home, Marriott Residences Business Bay, Skyhills, Elie Saab Edition Jasmine Lane, Moonstone Interiors by Missoni, OCTA Isle Interiors by Missoni, Trio Isle Interiors by Missoni and Flora Isle, among others.

As Dubai moves into its next phase, OCTA expects success to be defined less by market-wide momentum and more by product relevance, execution quality, buyer trust and long-term value creation. The DLD and RERA recognition therefore serves as a record of what has been achieved to date and as a benchmark for the standards OCTA intends to carry into the next cycle.
