Qashio launches first-of-its-kind Crossborder Payment solution in Partnership with VISA, rewarding businesses with loyalty points for international payments with its new product Global Pay
Overseas supplier payments can now earn Qashio Points redeemable across more than 50+ premium airline partners and hotel brands including Emirates Skywards, Accor and IHG
October 29, 2026: Qashio, the global spend management solution, has launched Global Pay, a new international business payments product that lets companies earn rewards when paying suppliers overseas, introducing a first-of-its-kind rewards model to cross-border business transfers.

Businesses using Global Pay can earn Qashio Points on Cross-border payments and redeem them across 50+ premium travel and hospitality brands and partners, including Emirates Skywards, Accor and IHG.
Companies routinely move substantial amounts of money internationally every month to pay suppliers, contractors and invoices. Until now, those payments have largely been treated as a cost of doing business. Qashio believes they should create value too.
Alongside rewards, the product tackles the other long standing pain points around international business payments, combining competitive FX rates shown upfront, zero fixed transfer fees, fast international settlements and end-to-end payment visibility inside the same Qashio platform businesses already use for cards, spend management and approvals.
Armin Moradi, CEO of Qashio, said: “International payments are part of any business today yet historically those payments earn the business nothing. Qashio has rewarded companies for their corporate card spending for years, and now they get rewarded when making cross-border payments as well. If the money has to be sent anyway, why shouldn’t the business get something back on that as well. That was the starting point for Global Pay. We then tackled everything else businesses dislike about moving money internationally: High FX cost, slow settlement, disconnected approvals and poor visibility. So businesses can now earn on a payment they already have to make, while getting competitive rates, faster transfers and proper control from invoice through to settlement.”
The launch comes as the UAE handles growing volumes of international capital, trade and payments. The movement of businesses, people and capital into the UAE is helping establish the country as a centre for innovation in global payments. The UAE was the world’s second largest source of remittances after the United States in 2025, with approximately AED 188.8 billion flowing out of the country.
Tim Fox, Senior Advisor at EMIR and former Chief Economist at Emirates NBD, said: “There is a huge growth in payments in and out of the country, so it is natural that the UAE has become a centre of innovation by fintechs to make the flow of money faster and more transparent in terms of pricing.”
That growth is happening as the UAE increasingly attracts businesses and capital seeking stability, certainty and access to international markets.
Rajesh Garg, Former Group CFO and Chief Sustainability Officer for 10 years at Landmark Group, said: “The UAE has become a safe haven for capital because companies and individuals are looking for stability, certainty and growth.” He said the country’s distinction is that it is building world class industries while offering that security.
Global Pay brings those payments into the same Qashio environment used to manage other company spend. Businesses can fund their Global Pay balance from their company account, add and verify beneficiaries, upload invoices, review the FX rate before sending and submit payments through their existing approval workflows.
Finance teams can then track each payment through to completion, access transaction records instantly and download PDF or CSV statements for reconciliation, while eligible international payments earn Qashio Points through the same process.
The launch also expands the type and volume of financial activity that can take place through Qashio. International supplier payments, traditionally handled outside spend management platforms, can now sit alongside corporate cards, accounts payable, approvals, business travel and rewards within the same financial environment.
Global Pay follows the launch of Qashio Corporate Travel and the expansion of the company’s European operations from Dublin as Qashio continues to broaden its financial platform for businesses operating across markets.
Qashio Global Pay is available to eligible new and existing Qashio customers.
