Officials announce AED 120,000 in prize money for winners
Dubai, UAE: The Emaar Polo Cup 2024 will return to the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club from 3rdJanuary 2024 from 2 PM onwards. Officials today announced the teams and match details at a live draw and revealed the tournament fixture and an impressive AED 120,000.00 in prize money (AED 80,000.00for the winner and AED 40,000.00 for the runner up).
Sponsored by Emaar, the event is the first of its kind in the region to offer cash prizes to its players.The medium-goal tournament will witness prominent polo teams compete to reach the grand finale on 13th January 2024. Over the past decade, these teams played against the highest level of skilled athletes and managed to proudly secure wins from low to high-goal polo tournaments in the region and abroad. This year, there will be junior Polo teams that will compete for the junior title.
Prominent members of the Royal Family have represented participating teams, and this year’s confirmed teams include HH SheikhaMaithabint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s UAE Polo Team, Bangash Polo Team, Bin Drai Polo Team, Abu Dhabi Polo Team and Lamar Polo Team.

The highlight will be the Ultimate POLO BRUNCH, where guests can indulge in a scrumptious variety of freshly cooked dishes inspired by global cuisines and handcrafted drinks. The house package Polo Brunch for AED 375 per adult is perfect while watching the much-awaited final match on the terrace. The soft package Polo Brunch is also available for AED 275 per adult, with Kids Polo Brunch for AED 140 per child. The Picnic Basket is filled with a delectable set of light gourmet sandwiches and freshly squeezed juices for two people served in the traditional picnic setting by the pool lawn overlooking the polo fields for two and is available for AED 375.
