Amity University Dubai Welcomes the Indian Industry Women’s Delegation, FICCI FLO

Amity University Dubai Welcomes the Indian Industry Women’s Delegation, FICCI FLO

21 November 2023: Amity University Dubai hosted a significant event in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce (FICCI) Ladies Organisation (FLO) on 21 November 2023 at Amity University Dubai. The visit, which boasted the presence of influential figures in the industry, policymakers, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders, focused on exploring the business growth trajectory of the UAE.

The event’s primary objective was to create a knowledge-sharing platform, fostering dialogue and insights for an engaging and interactive forum for participants. Attendees included a diverse audience comprising the accomplished women entrepreneurs of the Ladies’ wing of FICCI FLO, students and faculty from Amity University Dubai. The event facilitated thought-provoking ideas, collaborations, and strategies for future growth and success by bringing together such a diverse group.

Ms Pooja Chauhan, Chairperson of Amity Humanity Foundation, said: “Amity University Dubai is honoured to host a transformative event in collaboration with the FICCI Ladies Organisation, bringing together industry luminaries, policymakers, and thought leaders. This gathering aims to create a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange. Today is the day of inspiration, collaboration, and forward-thinking as we navigate the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the region’s business landscape.”

The event will host a delegation of a distinguished lineup of speakers led by Ms Sudha Shivkumar, President of the FICCI Ladies Organisation, and Ms Pooja Chauhan, Chairperson of Amity Humanity Foundation. Notable speakers include Dr Raja Al Gurg, Chairperson and Managing Director of Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group; Rizwan Sajan, Chairman and Founder of Danube Group; Marjan Faraidooni, Chief Experience Officer at Expo 2020 Dubai; Dhiraj Kunwar, Managing Director at Rak Bank; and Dr Mahra Lufti, first Emirati Stem Cell Therapy Doctor.

Dr Vajahat Hussain, CEO of Amity Education Middle East, said: “Amity University Dubai is proud to host a transformative event in collaboration with FICCI Ladies Organisation. At the heart of this gathering is a dedicated focus on women entrepreneurs – a vital community that drives innovation and change. This event, featuring influential speakers, is designed to ignite meaningful conversations and collaborations. It exemplifies Amity’s commitment to empowering individuals and navigating the challenges, leading a stronger and more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

The FICCI FLO delegation visit to Amity University Dubai promised to be an inspiring and empowering event. Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to delve into key trends, explore emerging opportunities, and address challenges in the UAE’s dynamic business landscape.
