Dubai, UAE – Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Dr. Shamma Bint Mohammed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan, the “A Mother’s Journey” took place on February 25, 2025, at Aprons and Hammers Beach House, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The event was organized by Rima Sayegh, founder of Nutreema Advertising in partnership with Aprons and Hammers Beach House. Created by Nadine Janho, this one-of-a-kind event was inspired by her personal journey as a mother, creating a space where women can learn, connect, and prioritize their well-being.

Set against the tranquil backdrop of Aprons & Hammers Beach House, with its stunning beachfront views and relaxing ambiance, the event welcomed women, mothers, and families for a day filled with expert-led discussions, health awareness, self-care experiences, and wellness activities.

The event kicked off with an outdoor market featuring health, beauty, and fashion products, which kept the moms engaged while the kids played and had fun in the designated play area with beachside activities by My Activity Box.

The program opened with a speech by Mariam Hamad Al Shamsy, Secretary General of Sheikh Mohammad bin Khalid Al Nahyan Foundations, who emphasized the essence of motherhood – “In a world filled with challenges, a mother’s love stands as the purest, given without expectation. Motherhood begins as a natural dream and evolves into a lifelong journey of love and care. More than just a biological bond, it is a continuous flow of giving, shaping strong generations and providing children with a safe haven in life.  While a mother nurtures her child toward independence, she never stops watching over them, her heart always connected to their journey. She remains a symbol of tenderness and protection, guiding them with unwavering love.  With deep gratitude, Dr. Shamma Mohamed Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, honors her mother, Henda, for her endless love and support, and thanks her sister, Rima Sayegh, for her dedication and commitment to noble human values.”

The day then unfolded with a series of insightful health and wellness talks by leading experts from the region’s top healthcare institutions:

– Brain Rewiring – Dr. Naima Rahman, Founder of The Wellness Lab, shared powerful techniques to enhance mental well-being and reprogram the mind for a healthier lifestyle.

– Polycystic Ovaries – A Focus on Hormonal Imbalance – Dr. Amal Aburawi, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist at Clemenceau Medical Center, shed light on PCOS, its symptoms, and effective management strategies. Clemenceau Medical Center is known for its state-of-the-art women’s health services and commitment to patient-centered care.

– The Importance of Regular Gynecological Examinations – Dr. Ana Kacarska, Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist at Mediclinic Al Sufouh, emphasized the critical role of routine check-ups in women’s preventive healthcare. Mediclinic  Al Sufouh is a multi-specialty clinic with comprehensive medical services and specialties  including pediatrics, family medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopedics, physiotherapy and many more.

– Intermittent Fasting – Dr. Reem Matar Alketbi, Nutritionist at Allied Medical Center, explored the science behind intermittent fasting and how it can contribute to a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Adding to the holistic experience, La Sirene Beauty & Spa, provided attendees with insights into luxurious self-care and beauty treatments.

The day concluded with a serene beachfront yoga session led by Ms. Cecilia Accad, followed by a sound healing experience with Ms. Malini Ohri, providing a moment of peace and rejuvenation for attendees.

The success of A Mother’s Journey was made possible through the generous support from the sponsors:

Bayer Middle East – “With a rich history of over 150 years of innovation, Bayer remains at the forefront of advancing science for the well-being of people and the planet”

Al Zahra Hospital, Clemenceau Medical Center, Abbott Laboratories, Mediclinic Al Sufouh, Allied Medical Center, Al Mufid Trading, Clinique Elle, New Country Healthcare, Bioderma, La Sirene Beauty & Spa, The Elixir Clinic, Mustela, Thermomix, Beshor, Sebamed, Saante Selfcare, Saadiyat Rotana & Beach Resort, Swissotel Al Murooj, and My Activity Box.
