The owner of Portofino Clinic and managing partner of Albiraa Clinic brings together medicine, beauty, and local manufacturing in an ambitious investment venture


Dubai – At a remarkable launch event that brought together business leaders, media professionals, and beauty enthusiasts in the heart of Dubai, Dr. Ruzanna Ghazaryan — CEO of Portofino Clinic and Managing Partner of Albiraa Clinic — unveiled a new chapter in her career spanning more than fifteen years in the medical and aesthetic industry. The occasion marked the official launch of “Adamo,” a luxury fragrance and skincare brand manufactured entirely in Dubai.

From Florida and Spain to Dubai: A Bold Bet on Local Manufacturing

Dr. Ruzanna revealed that Adamo’s early production was carried out in the United States and Spain. However, a bold strategic decision was made to relocate the entire manufacturing operation to Dubai, where raw materials are now sourced from around the world and transformed into premium products at the heart of the Emirates.

“We wanted to prove that small businesses have a place in Dubai,” she said. “When we work together, believe in our dreams, and put in the effort, we can achieve exceptional results — not just good work, but truly outstanding work.”


The Adamo Fragrance: A Romantic Journey from Armenia to Dubai

For Dr. Ruzanna, Adamo is far more than a commercial product — it is an olfactory poem that tells the story of her personal journey. The fragrance opens with a crisp, cool freshness evoking memories of her small mountain hometown in Armenia, gradually blossoming into white florals before settling into a warm, sophisticated base — a deliberate nod to the grandeur and warmth of Dubai.

“It is not a business venture as much as it is a passion project,” she explained. “It is the romance of Arabia and my personal journey, all in one.” The fragrance is distinguished by its carefully balanced formulation, minimizing synthetic ingredients while retaining the necessary preservatives to ensure product stability and shelf life.


Fifteen Years of Medicine: Standards of Care Never Go Out of Style

On the medical front, Dr. Ruzanna oversees Portofino Clinic and co-manages Albiraa Clinic, which celebrates its sixteenth anniversary this year. Both clinics host a distinguished roster of specialist physicians, including renowned Italian plastic surgeon Dr. Rocco Garfagno — widely regarded as one of Italy’s most celebrated celebrity surgeons — alongside Dr. Hector Cruz, an American Board-certified plastic surgeon.

Dr. Ruzanna described the philosophy behind both clinics in simple terms: “Good standards of care never go out of fashion.” She emphasized that staying away from the media spotlight has never come at the expense of quality, with a consistent focus on clinical excellence and premium patient care.
