  • Reinforcing Family Wellbeing and Community Support in the UAE’s Year of the Family
  • Delivering Affordability, Access, and Value Throughout the Holy Month

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 20 January 2026: ADCOOP, the UAE’s community-centered retail brand, today announced the launch of its Ramadan 2026 campaign, reinforcing its purpose of supporting families, strengthening community wellbeing, and ensuring access to affordable, high-quality food during the Holy Month and throughout the year, in line with the UAE’s designation of 2026 as the “Year of the Family”.

The Ramadan 2026 campaign is underpinned by a total investment of AED 20 million, delivering savings of up to 60% on more than 4,000 essential products. This includes dedicated Ramadan price reductions on 1,500 key items, alongside a broad range of value-driven offers available across ADCOOP’s store network and digital channels, designed to support households during a period of heightened seasonal demand.

As part of its broader community commitment during Ramadan, ADCOOP will distribute 30,000 free Iftar meals and make available 12,000 pre-packed Ramadan essentials boxes, priced at AED 99 and AED 149, through its stores and online platforms. These initiatives reflect ADCOOP’s role in sharing the spirit of generosity and supporting families across the communities it serves.

In parallel, ADCOOP will support the implementation of the Abu Dhabi Citizens’ Food Products Program, in its role as a community retail partner, ensuring the availability of essential food products through ADCOOP stores during the Holy Month, in collaboration with the Department of Municipalities and Transport. This is complemented by ADCOOP’s continued support for the Khalifa Foundation, through contributions to local humanitarian initiatives, reinforcing a unified approach to supporting Emirati citizens and strengthening food accessibility across the Emirate during Ramadan.

Community empowerment remains a core pillar of the campaign. Through its Ramadan Market in Shamkha, ADCOOP will support Emirati women entrepreneurs by providing a platform to showcase authentic, locally made products, celebrating heritage, craftsmanship, and togetherness during Ramadan.

Supporting local production is also central to the campaign. ADCOOP’s homegrown brands continue to champion UAE-grown and locally sourced produce, reinforcing local agriculture while offering fresh, high-quality essentials at competitive prices throughout the Holy Month.

Leadership Perspective

Speaking at the press conference at ADCOOP Head Office, Mr. Bertrand Loumaye, Retail CEO of ADCOOP, emphasized our commitment to families and community during the Holy Month:

“At ADCOOP, our role goes beyond retail. As a community-centered food retailer, we are focused on ensuring consistent access to essential, high-quality food at prices families can rely on, particularly during periods of peak demand such as Ramadan. This campaign reflects our ability to combine scale, operational strength, and purpose, delivering value to customers while supporting national initiatives and reinforcing food accessibility across the Emirate.”

Mr. Loumaye added that ADCOOP continues to enhance convenience and accessibility through fast and reliable express deliveries via the ADCOOP app, as well as Instashop and Talabat, supported by an expanded online assortment to meet increased Ramadan demand.
