Kalyan Silks, an iconic brand in the Indian apparel industry, has earned yet another recognition. Kalyan Silks bagged the ‘Best Performance Award (2025–26)’ for top performance in India, instituted by the leading global corporate group Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands.

Kalyan Silks Managing Director Prakash Pattabhiraman received the award at a grand ceremony held in Sydney, Australia. The award was presented jointly by Pankaj Mehrotra, Chief Commercial Officer of Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands, and Anil S. Kumar, Chief Business Officer of Louis Philippe. Kalyan Silks had won the same award at the edition held in Malta last year as well.

Captivating the hearts of crores of customers while driving revolutionary changes in the fashion industry is what made Kalyan Silks worthy of this major achievement. Starting on a very small scale in a corner of Thrissur town, Kalyan Silks grew by weaving purity into every thread to reach matchless heights as the world’s largest silk saree showroom chain. The achievements Kalyan Silks has earned within a century are numerous, including 39 world-class showrooms across India and abroad, a tradition of providing silk for over one crore weddings, and the rare honour of driving innovative ideas and products in silk. Kalyan Silks’ strength lies in its guarantee of 100% quality fashion wear at India’s lowest prices. Having over a thousand owned weaving units, hundreds of production houses, and countless design salons, Kalyan Silks consistently offers the latest collections across every clothing category.

Prakash Pattabhiraman, Managing Director of Kalyan Silks, stated that this award recognises their uncompromising stance on quality and the trust customers have placed in them for decades. Adding that this consecutive win reflects Kalyan Silks’ commitment to delivering a wide variety of clothing with 100% quality to the public for over a century, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to their beloved customers, partners, and employees who made this historic achievement possible.
