Alexa is soon going to follow you from the living room to the car and even onto your finger. At CES 2026, Amazon announced that its next-generation Alexa+ assistant is expanding across Samsung TVs, BMW vehicles, Bosch appliances, and even Oura rings, marking one of the biggest ecosystem updates Alexa has seen in years.
On Samsung TVs, Alexa+ will show up as a more conversational assistant built directly into the screen. Users will be able to ask more natural, follow-up questions, search across apps, control playback, and manage smart home devices without bouncing between menus or remotes.
The current Alexa version is already built into many smart TVs, but Samsung will be the first third-party brand to add Alexa+. The upgrade will roll out later this month to select Samsung TVs released between 2021 and 2025, limited to Alexa+ Early Access users.
Alexa+ spreads across cars, appliances, and wearables
Alexa+ will arrive as an in-car assistant on the latest BMW iX3 electric SUV, to handle more complex, multi-step requests while driving. That includes actions like navigational help, music control, and general queries, all designed to work hands-free and carry context from earlier conversations.
For the home, Amazon confirmed Alexa+ integration with Bosch, starting with Bosch 800 Series coffee machines. Users will be able to interact with these appliances using conversational voice commands to “personalize their favorite coffee, lattes, cortados, and more.”

Alexa+ is also coming to Oura rings. With user permission, Alexa+ can tap into Oura’s health data to manage their health using sleep, activity, stress, and heart rate data, effectively putting the assistant on your finger and tying it into daily wellness routines.
Amazon has been steadily expanding Alexa’s role, from launching it on the web to compete with ChatGPT and Gemini, to adding conversational AI features for shopping and travel planning, along with meal planning and grocery orders.
With these integrations, Amazon is turning Alexa+ into a cross-device AI assistant that feels present throughout your day, not locked to a single screen or speaker.
