Apple’s exclusive F1 deal begins in 2026; Here’s what fans can expect

Starting next year, Apple is taking the wheel. Thanks to a massive new five-year deal, every single race, practice, and sprint session is moving exclusively to Apple TV. To celebrate the handoff, Apple just dropped a social media teaser giving us our first real look at what F1 is going to look like on their platform.

The new F1 hub hits Apple TV right before the first race weekend of 2026 (March 6–8). The best part? It’s included at no extra cost if you are already a subscriber. The preview showed off a clean interface with a dedicated channel, easy navigation for the whole season, and built-in support for multiple live feeds – including those onboard driver cameras that used to require a separate F1.TV subscription.

Apple also confirmed that Multiview is coming along for the ride. This means you can watch the main feed, a driver’s POV, and data streams all at the same time on your Apple TV 4K, iPad, or Vision Pro.

Why This Matters & Why You Should Care

If you are an American F1 fan, this is a massive shake-up. Apple isn’t just broadcasting the races; they are basically absorbing the entire F1.TV experience into your Apple TV subscription. You get the driver feeds, the archives, and likely the data overlays, all without paying that extra F1.TV fee.

It’s also a clear sign that Apple is doubling down on live sports, following their playbook with MLS Season Pass. They are trying to make their app the ultimate destination for high-tech, interactive sports watching.

Worried about losing your specific F1.TV tools? Don’t be. Apple confirmed you can still log into the F1.TV website and apps using your Apple credentials, so hardcore fans don’t lose that granular control. For casual viewers, it just means less hassle – one app, one login, no juggling channels.

What’s Next

Apple promised that more details on production and “product enhancements” are coming in the next few months. We can probably expect new camera angles, real-time analytics, and maybe even some immersive modes for Vision Pro users.

For now, the new era starts in March. Apple TV currently runs $12.99/month, or you can get it as part of an Apple One bundle.
