  • Gold Coast project signals master developer’s first project outside New South Wales
  • Arada construction subsidiary Roberts Co to deliver project
  • Development scheduled for completion before 2032 Olympics

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: 20August 2026- Arada Group, one of the world’s fastest-growing master developers, has revealed plans for a AED5 billion twin-tower residential project following the acquisition of a prime development site in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. The move marks the group’s first expansion outside New South Wales, its most significant commitment to date in the Australian market and the next step in its ambition to build a diversified, multi-city presence across the country.

The UAE-based master developer’s Queensland debut will deliver close to 1,000 homes, with construction to be carried out by Roberts Co, Arada’s tier-one construction subsidiary, underlining the group’s vertically integrated approach to development and delivery.

The project is targeted for completion ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, a milestone that is expected to drive sustained demand for high-quality residential property across South East Queensland in the years ahead.

The Plus Studio-designed scheme will comprise 952 residences ranging from one to three bedrooms across two towers connected by a landscaped podium. Residents will have access to an exceptional range of amenities designed around contemporary lifestyle and wellness — including a lagoon pool, lap pool, gym, sauna, steam room, mist room, infrared room and salt scrub facilities, alongside communal terraces, private dining, a library, lounge, work-from-home spaces, and approximately 1,200 square metres of curatedground floor retail and hospitality tenancies.

The Broadbeach site is one of the most strategically positioned development opportunities on the Gold Coast. Directly opposite the Gold Coast Convention Centre, the development combines beachfront living with established dining, retail, entertainment and transport infrastructure. The site benefits from immediate access to the light rail and sits within walking distance to The Star Gold Coast andthe Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, said: “Broadbeach is a world-class address that gives us the canvas to create a community of exceptional design and lifestyle quality that genuinely enriches the daily lives of the people who call it home. This is our first development outside New South Wales, and it reflects our growing ambition to grow in key urban markets around the country. Delivering this project through Roberts Co, our own tier-one construction business, means we can bring the quality, pace and accountability that our buyers expect.”

The announcement reflects Arada’s confidence in the Gold Coast and the broader South East Queensland market. One of Australia’s fastest-growing regions, the Gold Coast is experiencing significant population growth, supported by interstate migration, major infrastructure investment and the city’s enduring appeal as a lifestyle destination. With the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games accelerating investment across South East Queensland, Arada sees a compelling opportunity to deliver a landmark residential development that responds to the Gold Coast’s evolution into an increasingly sophisticated, globally recognised city.

The Broadbeach project marks a significant expansion of Arada’s Australian footprint. Since entering Australia in 2024, the group has assembled a pipeline of eight projects and over 5,000 homes across the country, and in 2025, Arada Group also acquired tier 1 contractor Roberts Co.

Arada’s Australian presence extends well beyond residential development. The group has invested in Brooki Bakehouse – one of Australia’s most recognised and fastest-growing dessert brands – and holds a master franchise agreement for Australian consumer brand Boost Juice across the UAE. Arada also operates across hospitality, wellness and healthcare through its growing portfolio of brands, including Formative, the UAE’s largest fitness operator by revenue, which the group is planning to expand to its international markets.

Globally, Arada has projects valued at AED130 billion and a portfolio of more than 55,000 homes across the UAE, the United Kingdom and Australia.
