The performance-based bonus was approved on Sunday, December 24, 2023, under the guidance of his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The bonus is intended for those civilian employees who have met certain standards that have been set by the authority. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to construct 762 public bus shelters in strategic locations throughout the emirate. According to the project plan, all shelters are scheduled for completion by 2025.
