While 61 per cent of consumers in the UAE claim to be scam-savvy, 90 per cent of them are likely to miss fraud warnings, according to a study. The Stay Secure study conducted by Visa also found that 77 per cent of consumers are likely to respond to positive messages from fraudsters. Delhi Police on Saturday said it has arrested a man in connection with a deepfake video of actor Rashmika Mandanna that was widely circulated on social media. The accused, who is suspected to be the creator of the video, was arrested from south India and has been brought to Delhi, an official said, adding that he was being interrogated.
