The Middle East’s biggest dairy firm Almarai plans to spend over 18 billion riyals ($4.8 billion) through 2028 under a new plan aimed at boosting growth while focusing on areas including supply chain capabilities and food security. UAE fighters came up with a superlative performance at the end of Day One of the Jiu-Jitsu competition at the 11th Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament on Sunday. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), MBRGI and Sobha Realty signed a charitable grant agreement for the establishment of an endowment university in Dubai. Sobha Realty will construct and develop an Dh400 million university campus building in Dubai. The contribution represents one of the UAE’s largest charity donations. Eight civilians were killed on Monday in “reckless” airstrikes by Pakistan’s military in the border regions of Afghanistan, prompting Afghan forces to retaliate against Pakistani military outposts, Taliban officials said. Border tensions between the two countries have steadily escalated since the Taliban government seized power in 2021, with Islamabad claiming militant groups are carrying out regular attacks from Afghanistan.
