Prince Harry won his historic phone hacking lawsuit on Friday against the publisher of the Daily Mirror and was awarded over 140,000 pounds ($180,000) in the first of several lawsuits against British tabloids to go to trial in his battles with the Press. Starting today, UAE residents will no longer be able to share Netflix passwords outside their homes, Khaleej Times has learnt. The streaming giant’s password-sharing crackdown has officially reached the UAE. A small plane crashed on a western North Carolina highway and caught fire on Thursday night, but the two people on board escaped life-threatening injuries, authorities said. A single-engine Diamond DA-40 crashed on Interstate 26 near Asheville Regional Airport around 8.15pm with two people on board, the Federal Aviation Administration reported. Global consumption of coal reached an all-time high in 2023, the IEA energy watchdog said on Friday, as Earth experienced its hottest recorded year. The International Energy Agency reported that nations would burn even more coal this year than in 2022, the previous record for consumption of the key source of planet-warming gases. It looks like Tesla’s federal tax credit status could change pretty significantly in the near future. On the order page for the Tesla Model 3, the company says that “all new Model 3 vehicles currently qualify for a federal tax credit for eligible buyers. [The] $7,500 tax credit will reduce to $3,750 for Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive and Model 3 Long Range on Jan 1, 2024.” That’s not good news for those that might be interested in buying a Tesla in 2024.
