Maldives has reported contamination in Pakistani syrups and suspension medicines, Dawn reported. The report prompted the World Health Organisation (WHO) to issue an alert urging countries to step up vigilance and test products manufactured by a Lahore-based pharmaceutical company, according to Dawn.
