SpaceX launched its Starship vehicle for the second time on Saturday. Unlike the first test flight of the world’s most powerful rocket in April, which ended in a spectacular fireball just a few minutes after launch, this time the second-stage Starship spacecraft managed to successfully separate from the first-stage Super Heavy booster. A few minutes later, however, the booster exploded during its descent, while the spacecraft also failed to complete its flight. A thick blanket of fog hovered over parts of the UAE on Thursday morning, prompting the National Centre of Meteorology to issue a red alert. The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) on Wednesday announced the death of a third soldier following a drone attack by Houthis on Monday against forces of the Saudi-led coalition near Saudi-Yemen border. First Warrant Officer Adam Salem Naseeb succumbed to the injuries he suffered in a terror attack. With this, the death toll among BDF servicemen now stands at three.
