The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority has asked a catering service to shut down. The authority has issued an administrative closure decision against the ‘Royal Catering Services’ facility in Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra – Ghayathi. The food facility held the commercial license number CN-1049959 and violated Law No. (2) of 2008 regarding food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has extended the working hours of the Dubai Metro for the Dubai Run, which is set to take place on Sunday, November 26. The Dubai Metro’s working hours will be from 3am to 12 midnight on Sunday, RTA said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday. An Indian-origin student in Australia is in a medically induced coma after he was assaulted and a suspect has been taken into custody and charged with criminal assault, according to a media report. Researchers have detected one of the highest-energy particles ever falling to Earth. Cosmic rays are high-energy particles that come from sources in space such as the sun, but this recent detection is more powerful than anything that can be explained by known sources in our galaxy or even beyond. The particle had an energy of 2.4 x 1020eV, which is millions of times the energy of the particles produced in a particle collider.
