Luxury Italian furniture retailer brings together Dubai’s design community for interactive Ramadan-themed experience

DUBAI, UAE – February 25, 2025 – Baituti Home, the official monobrand store for prestigious design houses including B&B Italia, Louis Poulsen, Flos, and Maxalto, hosted an exclusive event titled “Ramadan Decoded” at their Jumeirah showroom. The intimate gathering brought together select design enthusiasts, industry professionals, and media representatives for an immersive exploration of luxury Ramadan entertaining.

The event was graced by the presence of Mohi-Din Binhendi, the esteemed Emirati businessman and Owner of Binhendi Enterprises, alongside other distinguished guests from Dubai’s design and business communities.

Mohi-Din Binhendi, Founder and Owner of BinHendi Enterprises, shared his vision for the brand: “At Baituti Home, we are carefully calibrating the balance between Italian design excellence and the nuanced preferences of our regional clientele. Our approach is not about compromising the authenticity that makes these iconic brands desirable, but rather creating a dialogue between minimalist Italian aesthetics and the rich cultural context of the UAE. This harmony is what truly distinguishes our offering in the luxury furniture market and has set brand apart since its inception.”

Held in Baituti Home’s Maxalto showroom—one of only five Maxalto monobrand spaces worldwide—the event showcased how Italian craftsmanship and contemporary design principles can harmoniously blend with traditional Ramadan aesthetics to create sophisticated entertaining spaces.

“At Baituti Home, we believe in creating meaningful environments that balance heritage and modernity with effortless sophistication,” said Ms. Gozde Morera, Director at Baituti Home. “This event embodies our commitment to helping our clients envision how our pieces can enhance their most significant gatherings, particularly during the special season of Ramadan.”

The highlight of the morning was a presentation by special guest Tania Khoury, Founder of Odd Designs, who created an elegant Ramadan tablescape in collaboration with O’de Rose boutique. Khoury shared insights on incorporating contemporary Italian design elements into traditional Ramadan settings.

“What makes Baituti special is its commitment to products that not only embody excellence but stand the test of time,” noted Khoury. “In Dubai, it’s increasingly rare to find pieces that resonate with a classic sense of appeal while remaining contemporary and relevant.”

Following the presentation, attendees participated in an interactive design challenge, forming teams to create their own Ramadan tablescapes using elements from throughout the showroom. The hands-on activity demonstrated the versatility of Baituti Home’s collections and their adaptability to cultural celebrations.

The “Ramadan Decoded” event is part of Baituti Home’s ongoing initiative to showcase how luxury Italian furniture can be integrated into the diverse lifestyles and cultural celebrations of UAE residents.

The event saw brand partners like Moog Studio by Dina Khattan who customized personalized resin art as giveaway’s which added a personal touch to the event.
