Abu Dhabi, November 25 2025: Riding on Piyush Chawla’s three-wicket haul, the Ajman Titans seized second place on the points table from the Vista Riders with a 34-run victory at the ongoing 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium.

After the Titans had put on105/7, Chawla’s figures of 3/11 dismantled the Riders’ batting lineup, restricting them to the season’s lowest total of 71/7.

Following a 19-run over in the first of the match, the Titans were pegged back by Andrew Tye’s (2/25) incisive two-wicket spell that swung the momentum. However, Alex Hales (35 off 21), and Dan Lawrence (22 off 13) top scored for the Titans, with the pair combining for a 42-run partnership in only 26 balls.

Left arm pacer, Awais Ahmad (2/15) picked up the crucial wicket of Hales in the ninth over and followed it up with another wicket on the next ball. Dhananjaya Lakshan (2/18) also registered a two-wicket haul including Dan Lawrence and Chris Green (11 of 5). Green had ensured the Titans squeezed 14 runs of the final over to post a competitive total.

In the second innings, the Riders began positively with Unmukt Chand (17 off 8) smashing three consecutive fours off Wasim Akram. Yet, the Titans swiftly regained control as Akif Javed (2/16) claimed Faf du Plessis as his first wicket of the night, in the second over. Piyush Chawla’s then removed Chand in the third over, before he returned to remove by Ansh Tandon (8 off 11) and Sean Dickson (7 off 13) in the seventh over.

Unable to forge any meaningful partnerships, the Vista Riders fell to their second defeat of the season.

Aspin Stallions post mammoth 134/2 against Deccan Gladiators

~ Gurbaz and Rutherford fired for the Stallions ~

On Tuesday night’s second fixture, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (48 off 24) came alive with a rapid-fire knock, studded with six fours and two sixes. Gurbaz and Andre Fletcher (10 off 11) built a 44-run stand in the first four overs. Noor Ahmad (2/19) halted the assault picking up Fletcher in the fourth over, and Gurbaz in the sixth over.

The fireworks were far from over as Sherfane Rutherford (48* of 18) and Ben Cutting (15* off 7) provided a late innings flourish. Rutherford hammered seven fours and two sixes; white Cutting carved a six and a four in his brief stint.

Notably, the last over of the innings saw three sixes and conceded 22 runs as the Stallions posted a formidable 134/2.
