Abu Dhabi, 11 November 2025: Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), and Mother of the Nation, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will host its second Annual Nursing Conference on 12-13 November 2025. This year’s theme, The SMART Nurse: Integrating Technology with Clinical Expertise: Shaping the Future of Patient Care, will bring together nursing professionals, educators, and innovators from around the world to explore how technology and human-centered care can work hand in hand to transform healthcare delivery.
The conference will host opening remarks from His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. Additionally, the Frontline Heroes Office is supporting as a strategic partner to the conference, with Dr. Maha Barakat, Director General, and Mohammed Hawas Alsadid, Programme Director at the Frontline Heroes Office, joining the event. The office’s continued support reflects its alignment with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s and the UAE leadership’s shared vision to advance and empower the nation’s healthcare workforce.
Organised by the Nursing Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, the conference reflects the hospital’s commitment to developing nursing leaders and advancing patient care through knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and innovation. Attendees will earn American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) contact hours and engage with local and international experts through panels, workshops, and keynote sessions. Topics will cover emerging innovations transforming healthcare, including artificial intelligence in clinical decision-making and virtual nursing, remote monitoring, digital ethics, simulation and virtual reality, and the use of avatars in clinical education.
Reflecting Abu Dhabi’s cross-sector collaboration in healthcare innovation, the conference will feature a healthcare hackathon in partnership with 42 Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital’s innovative and disruptive coding academy. Student teams will co-develop AI-driven solutions to real clinical challenges, and the winning concept will be showcased live at the event, with its implementation piloted during a six-month internship at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
This year’s partnerships and initiatives serve as a powerful reminder of the UAE’s unified approach to healthcare advancement, where collaboration between education, innovation, and compassion drives the nation’s healthcare evolution.
