  • H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah: “We are committed to expanding trade and investment cooperation between Dubai and India across all priority sectors.”

Dubai, UAE–Dubai Chambers recently organised a series of roundtable discussions in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, India, attended by 71 investors. The roundtables aimed to highlight the diverse investment opportunities Dubai offers to Indian companies across various sectors, particularly in digital economy and advanced technologies.

During the visit, a Dubai Chambers delegation led by H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, held eight meetings with business and investment organisations and multinational companies. These included the Confederation of Indian Industry – Karnataka State Council (CII Karnataka), the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry – Karnataka State Council (FICCI Karnataka), and NasscomDeepTech, as well as multinational companies.

H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, commented: “Dubai and India share a longstanding partnership that continues to gain momentum. We are working to deepen trade and investment cooperation across priority sectors and strengthen engagement with business communities throughout India, including in Karnataka. These efforts are helping to create new opportunities for companies in both markets and support shared growth.”

H.E. Lootah added: “Dubai offers Indian investors and entrepreneurs a competitive environment for innovation, growth, and expansion into regional and global markets. At Dubai Chambers, we remain committed to supporting the Indian business community in expanding into global markets from Dubai.”

As part of the visit, the Dubai Chambers delegation organised roundtable discussions with the participation of Indian companies from diverse sectors spanning industry and trade as well as Agentic AI and deeptech. The sessions highlighted Dubai’s advantages as an enabling environment for the future economy and a platform for developing and scaling innovative solutions. They also showcased the emirate’s advanced infrastructure and integrated ecosystem for entrepreneurship, financing, and investment, while exploring opportunities to build new business partnerships and support the expansion of Indian companies across the Middle East, Africa, and global markets from Dubai.

Dubai International Chamber opened a representative office in Bengaluru in 2025, following the launch of its first office in India in Mumbai in 2018. The expansion supports closer cooperation between businesses in Dubai and India by enabling the chamber to engage directly with the Indian business community, strengthen relationships with key public and private sector stakeholders, and promote Dubai’s competitive advantages as a global business destination.

The visit to Bengaluru forms part of Dubai Chambers’ ongoing efforts to deepen engagement with strategic markets and strengthen connections between Dubai’s business community and international partners. It also supports the growth of cross-border partnerships and creates new opportunities for international cooperation.
