Greenback Capital Founder and Chairman recognised at the Indo-European Business Forum Awards 2026 alongside prominent personalities from international business, culture and public life.
Dubai, 16 October 2026: Amardeep Sharma, Founder and Chairman of Greenback Capital Limited, has received the Excellence in Banking & Finance award at the Indo-European Business Forum (IEBF) Awards 2026, held at the House of Lords in London on 14 October.
The prestigious venue provided the setting for an evening celebrating achievements in finance, business leadership, culture, renewable energy, healthcare and community service.
Sharma was among the honourees recognised at the international gathering, which brought together prominent British parliamentary representatives, business leaders, investors and distinguished guests.
The award was announced by The Rt. Hon. Baroness Verma, with Kanishka Narayan MP, Britain’s Minister for Artificial Intelligence, participating in the awards presentation alongside other distinguished guests.
The recognition marks an important professional milestone for Sharma, who began his career with ICICI Bank in 2001 and subsequently developed extensive experience across India, Oman, Indonesia, Colombia and the UAE.
His international banking career included senior leadership responsibilities before he established Greenback Capital in the Dubai International Financial Centre.
Greenback Capital is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority and operates in investment advisory, asset management and related financial services.
Sharma’s professional journey, from banking to investment entrepreneurship, formed a central part of the recognition announced at the ceremony.
The IEBF Awards 2026 also honoured Indian playback singer Kanika Kapoor with the India–UK Cultural Ambassador Award, while Santosh Mishra of Sanfran Group was named Business Man of the Year. Renewable energy entrepreneur Sandip Sali was another recipient.
