Arabian Gulf Properties: Dubai’s Global Ranking as a Welcoming City Reinforces Long-Term Real Estate Demand

Emirate’s position for newcomers ahead of world’s top cities such as Warsaw, Seoul and Hong Kong reflects its growing appeal as a destination to live, work and invest

Dubai, UAE, 23 July 2026: Arabian Gulf Properties has highlighted Dubai’s latest recognition as one of the world’s most welcoming cities for newcomers as a strong indicator of the emirate’s continued appeal to international residents, professionals and investors.

Badar Rashid Alblooshi, Chairman, Arabian Gulf Properties

According to a recent report, Dubai ranked seventh globally in William Russell’s 2026 list of the world’s most welcoming cities for expatriates and newcomers. The emirate ranked ahead of top cities such as Warsaw, Seoul and Hong Kong, further strengthening its position as a global destination for people seeking stability, opportunity and quality of life.

The ranking evaluated major global cities based on several factors, including actual expatriate experiences, migrant population size, employment rates among foreign-born residents, local attitudes towards migrants, safety levels and visa openness.

Arabian Gulf Properties noted that Dubai’s performance in the ranking reflects the strength of the emirate’s wider ecosystem, where business-friendly policies, advanced infrastructure, safety, connectivity and lifestyle offerings continue to support population growth and long-term residential demand.

Badar Rashid AlBlooshi, Chairman of Arabian Gulf Properties, said: “Dubai’s recognition as one of the world’s most welcoming cities is not only a global endorsement of its quality of life, but also a clear signal for the real estate sector. People choose Dubai because it offers safety, opportunity, connectivity and a genuine sense of belonging. These factors are central to sustained demand for well-planned residential communities and future-ready developments.”

He added: “As more professionals, families and investors choose Dubai as a long-term base, the responsibility of real estate developers becomes even greater. The market must continue to deliver communities that go beyond buildings, communities that support daily life, well-being, accessibility and long-term value. At Arabian Gulf Properties, this is the direction we believe will shape the next phase of Dubai’s urban growth.”

Dubai’s inclusion among the world’s top ten welcoming cities comes as the emirate continues to attract a diverse international population, supported by flexible visa frameworks, a competitive business environment and a strong focus on quality-of-life standards.

Arabian Gulf Properties emphasized that such global recognition adds further momentum to Dubai’s real estate sector by reinforcing confidence among end-users and investors alike. The company noted that demand is increasingly shaped not only by location and asset value, but also by the ability of developments to offer integrated, livable and community-focused environments.

The company further highlighted that Dubai’s appeal to newcomers supports a broader shift in the real estate market, where residents are placing greater value on quality, functionality, sustainability and long-term community living.
