What sets this tournament apart is its ability to attract notable AMU affiliates from around the world, including distinguished personalities like Prof. Mohammad Gulrez, Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lieutenant General Zameer Uddin Shah, Former Vice-Chancellor of AMU and retired Senior General of the Indian Army, former Indian field hockey player Mr. Zafar Iqbal, who has been awarded Padma Shri, Arjun award, and a gold medal in 1980 Moscow Olympics, Retired Air Vice Marshal Dr. Devesh Vasta, and Captain Kamal Mustafa Khan.
