The Group commemorates Eid Al Etihad with employee ceremonies and celebrations across its offices in the UAE
Dubai, UAE, 29 November 2024: Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye (MENAT) region marked the occasion of Eid Al Etihad across its branches and offices in the country.
The celebrations highlighted the spirit of unity that brings together the diverse communities in the UAE and recognised the strength of the national security, knowledge and prosperity of the nation.
The bank organised a host of activities for employees, celebrating UAE’s rich cultural heritage. The festivities included traditional performances and diverse Emirati food stations. Further, a series of engaging activities were hosted bringing together members of the senior management and employees of Emirates NBD, featuring calligraphy workshops, traditional trivia challenges, perfume making sessions and a captivating dates exhibition.
The bank also paid tribute to the nation through a video campaign celebrating the Emirati spirit of generosity, unity, and hospitality, with a focus on how community reflects the unique sense of care and service within the UAE.
The core concept revolves around the phrase ‘Faalek Tayyeb’, words that unite us, a term that symbolises Emirati kindness, generosity, and readiness to help. In the video, this phrase is woven into various real-life scenarios, reflecting how Emiratis support one another in daily life. Through the depiction of heartwarming and everyday moments, the video illustrates how this phrase is deeply rooted in Emirati culture and values and how our unity is rooted in the words of our founders, especially as the nation celebrates its achievements on the occasion of Eid Al Etihad.
As a leading national banking Group with local roots in the UAE, Emirates NBD is proud to celebrate the country’s rich legacy, heritage and the spirit of unity that binds its people together. The bank remains grateful for the vision and wise leadership of its beloved founding fathers and looks forward to a bright future under the ambitious leadership of the rulers of today. As a homegrown organisation, Emirates NBD’s greatest priority remains to align with the UAE Vision and create sustainable value for our stakeholders to advance the nation’s progress.
