Fourth Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition and Second Middle East Cosmetics Show Open at Expo Centre Sharjah

Sharjah, 10 October 2026:

The fourth edition of the Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition and the second edition of the Middle East Cosmetics Show opened yesterday at Expo Centre Sharjah. Running concurrently until 18 October 2026, the two exhibitions bring together more than 200 companies and approximately 700 brands participating in the Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition, alongside a selection of companies and brands specialising in the cosmetics sector.

The exhibitions were inaugurated by Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, in the presence of several officials and representatives of participating companies and brands.

The opening ceremony included a tour of both exhibitions, during which attendees explored the key exhibitors, latest products and new launches. Participants represented the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, China, Türkiye and India, reflecting the diversity of markets and products showcased at the events.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, affirmed that hosting the Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition and the Middle East Cosmetics Show concurrently reflects the Centre’s commitment to developing a more integrated exhibition ecosystem that responds to changes in consumer markets and keeps pace with the growing convergence of the fragrance, beauty and personal care sectors. He noted that this approach strengthens business networking opportunities and opens up broader prospects for companies and brands seeking to enter new markets.

Al Midfa said: “The significance of specialised exhibitions extends beyond showcasing products to their ability to build bridges between markets, connect brands with consumers and business partners, and enable companies to explore demand trends and strengthen their presence in an evolving competitive environment.

“With this in mind, Expo Centre Sharjah is committed to attracting events that bring together complementary sectors and deliver added value to exhibitors and visitors. This reinforces Sharjah’s position as a destination for specialised exhibitions and business activities while supporting the vitality of the associated economic sectors.”

Al Midfa added: “Bringing these two exhibitions together under one roof creates greater opportunities for interaction between brands and markets, encourages the discovery of products and innovations, and facilitates the exchange of expertise among participants from different countries.

“This approach also aligns with Expo Centre Sharjah’s role in providing an environment that supports business growth and the expansion of commercial partnerships. By capitalising on the emirate’s strategic location and its connections to regional and international markets, participating companies gain broader opportunities to strengthen their presence and explore new avenues for growth.”

The Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition provides a specialised platform bringing together brands from regional and international markets. It showcases an extensive selection of Oriental and Western fragrances, oud oil, incense, blended perfumes, body and hair fragrances, incense burners, scented candles and other related products.

The exhibition also offers visitors an opportunity to discover the latest launches, experience a variety of fragrance compositions and engage directly with brands and industry specialists.

Running alongside it, the second edition of the Middle East Cosmetics Show brings together a diverse range of companies and brands operating in the cosmetics, beauty and personal care sectors. The event provides a platform connecting local and international brands, industry professionals and beauty enthusiasts, while showcasing the latest products, solutions and trends in the industry.

The Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition features brands from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, China, Türkiye and India. This international participation enables visitors to explore a wide range of fragrance experiences reflecting the distinctive traditions, approaches and markets that shape the perfume industry.

Both exhibitions also feature an exclusive pavilion for the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, further enhancing the visibility of participating companies and brands while supporting networking, collaboration and the exploration of new business opportunities.

The two exhibitions will remain open to visitors at Expo Centre Sharjah until 18 October 2026, offering an opportunity to explore an extensive range of perfumes, oud, cosmetics, beauty and personal care products, and discover the latest launches and participating brands.
