Young players from across the region have a chance to go head-to-head across the U10, U12, U14 and U16 age categories with international teams

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 23 July 2026 – ISD Dubai Sports City has opened registration for the December 2026 edition of the Emirates Youth International Cup (EYIC), inviting youth football academies from across the GCC to compete in the tournament from 4 to 6 December 2026.

Open to teams across the Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 age groups, the tournament is designed to showcase emerging talent by bringing together diverse footballing backgrounds and providing players with the opportunity to compete at the international level.

Each participating team is guaranteed a minimum of five matches across the group stage and knockout format, ensuring valuable competitive experience throughout the three-day tournament. Trophies and medals will be awarded in each age category.

With teams from across the GCC and beyond set to compete, this year’s tournament has already confirmed the participation of United FC (UAE), Riga FC (Latvia), FK Auda (Latvia), Rodina FC (Russia) and Pafos FC (Cyprus). Registration remains open for football academies across the region.

“Football has a unique way of bringing young people together, regardless of where they’re from,” said Daniels Petrovs, CEO of ISD Dubai Sports City. “That’s what the Emirates Youth International Cup is all about. It gives young players the chance to compete and build friendships with players from different backgrounds. Bringing together teams from across the region and beyond to Dubai also raises the standard of competition, giving local players valuable exposure that helps them develop their game. Following a successful tournament last year, we’re looking forward to welcoming even more teams this December.”

All matches will be played at ISD Dubai Sports City on artificial turf pitches, alongside floodlit training facilities and Dubai’s only indoor 11-a-side football pitch. The tournament will be officiated by qualified referees, professional scheduling, and dedicated tournament operations throughout the event.

Alongside the on-pitch action, the weekend will also feature football-themed activities and entertainment for families, creating a welcoming atmosphere for players, parents and spectators.

To support travelling teams, tournament packages include airport transfers, daily transportation, partner-hotel accommodation, player catering and optional excursions, allowing visiting players and coaches to experience the city.

Academies wishing to participate can register here, with applications closing on 30th September 2026.  Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
