English Path Sponsors “Ride for Unity: 7 Days/7 Emirates”
School Champions Unity and Diversity through “Ride for Unity” Cycling Event
Dubai, UAE, 12 January 2024: English Path, a leading English language school and integral part of the Global Education Group (Gedu), is proud to announce its sponsorship and participation in the groundbreaking event, “Ride for Unity: 7 Days/7 Emirates.” This initiative aligns seamlessly with English Path’s mission of changing lives through education and the belief that English is often the first step towards greater understanding and unity.
The “Ride for Unity: 7 Days/7 Emirates” is a unique cycling tour across the United Arab Emirates, scheduled for January 2024. This event brings together 17-20 main athletes from diverse fields, unified by their love for sports and driven by a mission to promote values of unity, inclusion, tolerance, and sustainability.
In an inspiring display of sportsmanship and unity, a team of amateur cyclists, comprising business leaders and entrepreneurs, is set to embark on a seven-day journey traversing all seven Emirates. This event, marked by its diverse representation, will see cyclists from various cultural backgrounds, emphasizing the commitment to diversity and inclusion. Along the route, the team will make educational stops at various institutions, engaging in interactive sessions focused on positivity and teamwork.
English Path, as the proud sponsor of this event, seizes this opportunity to support and actively participate in an endeavor that resonates deeply with its core values. This partnership highlights English Path’s dedication to fostering a diverse, opportune, and sustainable environment, in alignment with its educational mission. The key activation to be focussed by English Path during the event is the ride of determination with children from ‘Senses’ at kite beach.
“We at English Path are thrilled to sponsor the ‘Ride for Unity’ event, as it perfectly encapsulates our ethos of bringing people together through shared experiences and learning. This initiative not only promotes physical endurance and the spirit of sportsmanship but also aligns with our commitment to fostering unity, diversity, and inclusive education. We believe in the power of education to bridge cultural divides, and this event is a reflection of our dedication to these values,” said Mike Summerfield, Managing Director at English Path.
Students can embark on an educational journey at one of English Path’s global campuses, allowing students to choose from exciting destinations across the UK, Ireland, Malta, North America, and the Middle East, or even combining two locations to become a truly global learner. Each destination offers its own unique characteristics, catering to diverse needs and finding the right fit for each educational journey.
Beyond just language classes, English Path is dedicated to offering a holistic learning experience that enables students to immerse themselves in the local culture, explore the city’s highlights, and form lasting friendships with peers from around the world. From insightful museum visits to theatre outings and exciting weekend excursions, the programme caters to a variety of interests with strong emphasis on academic excellence, offering weekly unit tests, monthly skill assessments, study clinics, and course tutorials.
Students of English Path benefit from masterclasses on a wide array of topics, including personal branding and job interview skills, enhancing both their language proficiency and personal development.
The “Ride for Unity: 7 Days/7 Emirates” event is more than a cycling tour; it’s a symbol of hope, collaboration, and the unifying power of shared goals. English Path is proud to be at the forefront of this initiative, championing the principles of diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.
