FUJAIRAH: Tennis & Country Club Fujairah
Fujairah has officially announced the launch of its first-ever W100 Women’s Tennis Tournament and the introduction of ATP tennis to the emirate, in collaboration with ARAMCO, marking a major milestone for sports development in the UAE. The announcement was made at Tennis & Country Club Fujairah (TCCF).

Chairman Abdul Ghafour Behroozian emphasized the long-term vision and historic nature of the event, stating:
“There is no going back. We are committed to making a great impact for Fujairah and for the upcoming generation.

This is the first W100 tournament in Fujairah, featuring top 100 ranked players. Athletes who recently competed in the Australian Open will also be joining us, which reflects the high level of this tournament.”

Highlighting strategic growth and international exposure, Omar Shareef Al Marzooqi, Tennis Board Member, said:
“We have big plans ahead. With TCCF as our valued partner, we are considering more international tournaments and stronger collaboration in the future. These tournaments will bring Fujairah onto the global map through worldwide live streaming via ELC.”

Representing the International Tennis Federation, Lucie Adamovska, ITF Supervisor, expressed strong confidence in the tournament lineup:
“The registrations are very strong, and I am confident about the quality of players.

Several top players who have never competed in Fujairah before will be participating in this tournament.”

Marking a historic first for men’s tennis in the emirate, Jiri Adamsovka, ATP Supervisor, commented:
“Marking a historic first for men’s tennis in the emirate, Fujairah Tennis and Country club will be hosting ATP Challengers for the first time. This might be the beginning of a journey toward hosting high-profile men’s tournaments. With new technology and increased club exposure, the impact will be even greater.”

Focusing on operational readiness and player experience, Hania Reggi, General Manager, added:
“The club has worked extensively on all infrastructure and operational details required by affiliated organizations to ensure every standard is met. Our priority is the players and their experience, and we do not compromise on quality.”

The W100 and ATP tournaments represent a significant step in positioning Fujairah as an emerging hub for international tennis, reinforcing the UAE’s growing presence on the global sporting stage.
