The HUAWEI MatePad 12 X will be available for pre-order starting 17 October from AED 1,999 through Huawei’s official website.Customers who pre-order will receive free gifts worth approximately AED 1,400, including a HUAWEI wireless keyboard and the new M-Pencil Pro, which comes with three interchangeable tips for an optimal writing and drawing experience.Additionally, users will enjoy free access to premium apps such as HUAWEI GoPaint, HUAWEI Notes, and WPS Office, designed to enhance productivity for both work and study.

Ultra-clear PaperMatte Display, for optimal eye comfort and clarity

HUAWEI MatePad 12 X PaperMatte Edition packs a new and improved ultra-clear PaperMatte Display, which is bolstered by high-precision nanoscale etching technology, to reduce sparkle by 50% compared with the previous generation[1], resulting in a much clearer and more comfortable view. As a pioneer and leader in anti-glare screen technology, Huawei has always focused on its customers, continuously innovating to make the PaperMatte a benchmark for improving digital reading and creative experiences in the tablet sector.

Professional handwriting and painting with the new HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro[2]

HUAWEI MatePad 12 X provides an even more seamless creation and interaction experience when used with the brand-new HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro stylus. Pinching the stylus brings up an in-app radial menu, with direct access to brushes, colour palettes, and other tools. There’s also a quick button to take you directly to the HUAWEI Notes app, and a rotate gesture that applies true-to-life brush strokes within the GoPaint app. The stylus comes with three distinct tips, designed for standard writing, small-font writing[3], and painting, with 16,384 pressure-sensing levels to make each stroke and doodle more dazzling than ever.

PC-level productivity

The PC version of the WPS Office app delivers efficient office capabilities with a PC-style interface, advanced editing tools, and powerful presentation features. It offers the full suite of functions with a cleaner, more accessible menu layout. Users familiar with the desktop version can transition to the tablet app effortlessly, without needing to relearn workflows or adjust their habits. From simple viewing to complex editing, the PC-level WPS provides a convenient windowing experience and comprehensive features.

The WPS suite comes with functional optimisations that bring it closer to the PC experience than the mobile version ever could. WPS Spreadsheets, Presentations, and Writer deliver a nearly identical interface and feature set to their desktop counterparts, ensuring seamless switching between PC and tablet for efficient, uninterrupted work.

Pearlescent all-metal unibody

This tablet features an all-metal unibody design, and weighs just 555 g and measures just 5.9 mm thick. The device’s e-coating pearlescent sheen exudes luxury and feels smooth to touch. Under the hood, there’s a flagship-level 3D heat dissipation architecture that boosts the overall performance by 27% compared with its predecessor[4]. For the rear cover, Huawei has adopted the advanced e-coating process from the aerospace and automotive sectors, which gives it a pure, creamy macaron colour. The addition of natural mica powder, which is a high-quality, eco-friendly material, creates a shimmering polish on the surface. The tablet comes in two elegant, vibrant colours: Greenery and White.
