UAE, 19 November 2025 – Huawei launched the high-end HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2, the first smart watch to support underwater sonar-based communication, making deep sea dives safer and more convenient. The watch is made of an exceptionally hard zirconium-based liquid metal case and features a 150-meter diving-level water resistance, along with audio features. It also packs an innovative gap antenna system, which facilitates faster and more seamless Internet connections in extreme environments. The watch comes with HD golf course maps and pro-level outdoor features, which make it the natural watch of choice for outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers.

The HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 will be available in the UAE for pre-order from 19th November at a price of 2,999 AED through Huawei’s official website. Buyers will benefit from additional gifts including 3-months free subscription for HUAWEI Health+, two years of HUAWEI Care+ and 6 months free VIP Watch Face.

New colours, durable materials

Available in Blue and Black, the WATCH Ultimate 2 features a zirconium-based liquid metal case, with a dual-colour nanocrystal ceramic bezel and sapphire glass for excellent durability. The bezel uses dual-colour nanocrystal ceramic, a uniquely tough material that requires complex manufacturing. A unique combination of vibrant colours, a smooth, glossy texture, and toughness makes nanocrystal ceramic an elegant choice for this high-end smartwatch. The material is also gentle on the skin and resists scratches and corrosion.

150-meter deep-sea sonar-based communication

As the first smartwatch to support 150-meter dives and audio capabilities such as calling and music playback, the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 takes diving performance and safety to new levels. The 20 ATM water resistance means the watch supports 150-meter diving-level, and introduces an independent sonar communication system that works at such depths.

The sonar-based communication feature allows the user to send preset messages and emoticons to other watches within 30 meters. There’s also an underwater SOS feature, which supports a maximum range of 60 meters, and can help facilitate timely assistance in the event of an emergency.

X-TAP: Precise health monitoring

The watch’s TruSense system is supported by the X-TAP and rear super-sensing modules, and provides 11 key health metrics via the Health Glance feature. There are also fingertip SpO2 measurements that update in real time and can be monitored continuously, as well as accurate heart rate and sleep tracking.

Fast and stable connections

The Ultimate 2’s gap antenna system boosts signal strength outdoors, and its Sunflower positioning system is bolstered by dual-band five-system positioning and advanced algorithms to provide pinpoint navigation in challenging conditions. The watch can even be used to make calls on its own, thanks to an eSIM feature, and AI call noise cancellation keeps calls clear amidst the elements. Additional new features like Fall detection, Emergency SOS, and High altitude monitoring were meticulously designed to keep daring outdoor adventurers safe at all times. The watch’s Battery Saver mode supports up to 11 days of use, and Standard mode supports a still impressive 4.5 days of use.

The HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 represents a new wearable paradigm, in which outdoor adventure activities are prioritised alongside health features and daily convenience. It promises to usher in a promising new era for outdoor enthusiasts.
