India Blockchain Alliance and TheBlock. Launch the UAE–India Web3 & AI Business Corridor

Dubai / New Delhi, January 14, 2026 – The India Blockchain Alliance (IBA) and TheBlock. today  announced the launch of a strategic partnership and to set up the UAE–India Web3 & AI Business Corridor,  a strategic cross-border initiative aimed at deepening technology collaboration, accelerating innovation, and  unlocking long-term economic value between India and the United Arab Emirates.

The Corridor is designed to connect India’s globally recognised technology talent and digital innovation  capabilities with the UAE’s leadership in advanced regulation, global market access, and investment  infrastructure. By enabling structured collaboration across Web3, artificial intelligence, digital assets,  cybersecurity, and deep technology, the initiative seeks to transform bilateral cooperation into a scalable  engine for enterprise adoption, startup growth, and digital trade.

Commenting on the launch, Danosch Zahedi, CEO of TheBlock., said that the Corridor represents a  new model for international technology partnerships. “The UAE–India Web3 & AI Business Corridor aims to  be a catalyst for redefining how two innovation-driven nations collaborate. The UAE has built one of the  world’s most advanced regulatory and investment ecosystems, and India brings unmatched talent depth and  digital capability. Together, we are creating a cross-border innovation engine that will accelerate enterprise  adoption, empower startups, and unlock new economic value for both countries.”

At its core, the Corridor is structured to serve governments, enterprises, startups, investors, and academic  institutions in both countries. It will support regulatory dialogue and sandbox frameworks, enable cross-border market access for technology companies, create pathways for capital deployment and co-investment, and foster talent mobility through joint research and skill development initiatives.

Raj Kapoor, Founder of the India Blockchain Alliance, emphasised the long-term strategic vision behind the  initiative. “This corridor reflects a shared intent to shape the future of technology rather than simply  respond to it. India’s strength in building scalable digital public infrastructure and the UAE’s leadership in  forward-thinking technology governance together form a powerful alliance. Through this initiative, we aim  to build interoperable standards, enable emerging-technology trade, and drive inclusive economic growth  that benefits businesses, governments, and citizens across both nations.”

The economic impact of the Corridor is expected to be significant. For India, it strengthens global  positioning in Web3 and AI, expands export opportunities in digital services, and supports the creation of  high-skilled jobs. For the UAE, the initiative reinforces its status as a global hub for Web3 and artificial  intelligence, attracts high-value enterprises and talent, and contributes to economic diversification aligned  with national innovation agendas. For both nations, the Corridor lays the foundation for increased bilateral  digital trade, shared infrastructure development, and long-term innovation resilience.

The UAE–India Web3 & AI Business Corridor will be rolled out in phases, beginning with the formation of  joint working groups, ecosystem partnerships, and pilot programs, followed by the launch of cross-border  accelerators, investment platforms, and interoperable technology standards. Over time, it is expected to  evolve into a globally recognised model for cross-border digital economy collaboration.

With this initiative, the India Blockchain Alliance and TheBlock. reaffirm their commitment to building a  future-ready, interoperable, and inclusive digital economy that delivers tangible national and economic  impact for both India and the United Arab Emirates
