Dubai, June 2026: Joyalukkas, the world’s favourite jeweller, was honoured by the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) for its contribution to the 2025 Toner Collection Campaign and its continued commitment to environmental sustainability. The recognition was announced at the Emirates Recycling Awards, where Joyalukkas was commended for its consistent dedication to environmental conservation and the principles of the circular economy.

The awards ceremony, held on Friday, 5th June 2026, in the UAE, was graced by His Highness Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of One Hive and Director General of Ras Al Khaimah Civil Aviation Authority, alongside other distinguished dignitaries from Emirates Environmental Group , who expressed appreciation for the efforts of Joyalukkas and all participating organisations.

In 2025, Joyalukkas actively supported the campaign, underscoring the brand’s commitment to reducing electronic waste and advancing responsible recycling practices. This achievement resonates with the UAE leadership’s emphasis on environmental stewardship, particularly in the Year of Community under the national slogan Hand in Hand — a call for all entities across the nation to unite in building a greener, more sustainable future.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. John Paul Alukkas, Chief Executive Officer of Joyalukkas Jewellery, said: “We are deeply honoured to receive this recognition. Sustainability is not merely an initiative for us — it is a responsibility we embrace wholeheartedly. Our team’s commitment to responsible recycling and environmental conservation reflects our broader resolve to protect the environment and support the UAE’s national vision for a resilient, sustainable future. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Emirates Environmental Group for this honour and look forward to strengthening our collaboration in the years ahead.”

The Emirates Recycling Awards celebrate organisations that go beyond regulatory compliance to actively champion environmental stewardship. Joyalukkas’ sustained participation and growing annual contribution reinforce its standing as a responsible corporate citizen — one that remains steadfast in its commitment to a cleaner, greener tomorrow
