Joyalukkas Organises Blood Donation Camps as Part of World Blood Donor Day

In honour of World Blood Donor Day, Joyalukkas organised global blood donation camps across several countries where Joyalukkas has marked its presence. This impactful initiative continues Joyalukkas’ longstanding commitment to community well-being and its comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.

Since 2004, Joyalukkas has been a steadfast advocate for blood and platelet donation, regularly organising drives to support healthcare systems worldwide. Over the past two decades, the group has successfully conducted more than 190 blood donation camps, collecting over 4,000 units of life-saving blood and platelets. This remarkable achievement highlights the dedication of Joyalukkas and the generosity of its employees and communities.

This year’s global camp saw enthusiastic participation from staff and the public across various regions, embodying the spirit of giving back. Joyalukkas’ commitment to this vital cause runs deep, with leadership actively involved in these drives. Dr. Joy Alukkas, (Chairman, Joyalukkas Group), Mr. John Paul Alukkas (Managing Director, Joyalukkas International Operations), Ms. Jolly Joy (Director), Ms. Sonia Alukkas (Director) and Ms. Mary Antony (Director), have personally participated in these camps, leading by example and fostering a culture of compassion.

“Every drop of blood has the power to save a life and we are incredibly proud to play a role in this life-saving mission.” said Mr. Joy Alukkas, Chairman of Joyalukkas Group. “Our blood donation camps are more than just events – they are a heartfelt expression of our responsibility to the communities we serve. We believe in building a healthier future and these drives are a testament to our ongoing commitment to making a tangible, positive difference in the world.”

Joyalukkas’ blood donation efforts are a cornerstone of its CSR activities, reflecting a genuine desire to contribute to the well-being of society. The success of these global initiatives underscores the power of collective action in addressing critical healthcare needs.
