Zurich, 7 September 2026 – Julius Baer has appointed Prashant Ajitsaria as Group Head for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Clients in Switzerland, succeeding Gideon Dessauer. Based in Zurich. Prashant will lead the bank’s team of bankers serving NRI clients and will focus on further growing Julius Baer’s global NRI business across key markets including the UAE, UK and Africa.

Prashant joined Julius Baer in 2017 and most recently served as Deputy Group Head for NRI Clients in Switzerland and Relationship Manager. He brings more than 25 years of experience in private banking, with extensive expertise in advising internationally based Indian clients.
The appointment reflects Julius Baer’s continued focus on the NRI segment and its commitment to developing proven talent from within the organisation, while further strengthening its Zurich-based team dedicated to serving the global Indian diaspora.
