June 17–18, 2025 | Safina Ballroom, Jumeirah Beach Hotel

Dubai, UAE – The K-Food Fair 2025 lit up the iconic Jumeirah Beach Hotel this June with a dynamic showcase of Korean culinary excellence. The two-day event, jointly organized by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of Korea, brought together 30 leading Korean food exporters and 8 premium Hanwoo beef companies for a vibrant display of innovation, tradition, and global flavor.

From kimchi, seaweed snacks, and vegan kimbap to ginseng drinks and halal-certified sauces, the exhibition featured a rich curation of products tailored to the tastes and health-conscious preferences of GCC consumers. Many of the showcased items reflected growing demand for sustainable, plant-based, and convenience-oriented foods in the region.

To support Korean businesses seeking entry into the halal market, the fair hosted a Halal Certification Seminar led by Mr. Tomas Guerrero, providing actionable guidance on regulatory and certification requirements in the UAE. Additionally, two professors and one legal expert delivered insightful lectures on “The Process of Forming Food Culture in the Middle East” and “Business Etiquette and Culture in the Middle East,” equipping Korean food exporters with the cultural acumen needed to thrive in the region.

With an estimated 521 visitors across the two days, the event facilitated meaningful engagement between Korean suppliers and local distributors, importers, and influencers. Numerous business consultations and sample requests were recorded, signaling robust interest from the UAE’s F&B industry

Yongpil Jeon, Director of aT Center Dubai, expressed optimism about the market response, stating, “K-Food Fair is more than an exhibition – it’s a bridge connecting Korean culinary innovation with the tastes of the Middle East. We’re proud to see Hanwoo beef and halal-certified Korean products making inroads into this dynamic market.”
